When requesting information or making a reservation, please let us know what type of birding interests you and your preferred travel dates. We will customize your tours to help you tick off your life list or locate specific species — perfect for both birders and nature photographers.

Be sure to check out our birding packages that include lodging. We’ve just completed three new waterfront rooms at Ría Maya Birding and Fishing Lodge, offering comfort and a front-row view of the Río Lagartos wildlife.

Payment and Booking Information
For birdwatching and photography tours, we require a deposit to hold your reservation. We will send you an invoice via PayPal in USD or Euro (other currencies may incur a small exchange fee). The deposit is 50% of the total cost.
You can pay using your own PayPal account (preferred) or with a debit or credit card through the PayPal system. We cover the 5% PayPal handling fee. Río Lagartos Adventures is a PayPal Verified Merchant.
Once the deposit is received, your reservation will be confirmed. The remaining balance can be paid in USD, Euro, or Mexican pesos. We accept credit cards, but cash in dollars or pesos is preferred.

Cancellation Policy
No refunds are given for cancellations.
If you contact us at least two days in advance, we will be happy to reschedule your tour or provide a credit valid for up to one year.
